STUCCO AND CEMENT SURFACES:

The painted surfaces are pressure washed from the bottom up to remove dirt, dust, efflorescence, contaminants and loose paint. Mildew is removed with a combination of strong bleach, TSP and detergent to leave a clean surface for paint. We will allow all surfaces to dry before paint is applied.

STUCCO CRACKS OR HOLES:

Cracks and gaps are V-grooved out and holes and other defects are repaired using spackling compound or joint compound. Joint compound is used for larger gaps and large flat areas because it's much easier to smooth onto the surface. An appropriate primer and finish coat is used to dust and spot prime all patched area.

WOOD SURFACES:

Remove dirt, chalk and contaminants from the wood's surface. Clean any mold from the siding and Remove any loose paint with a long-handled scraper. Wire brush all loose and peeling paint and dust surfaces. Use a sander to feather the edges that meet bare wood. We then prime the wood and allow the primer to dry.

METAL SURFACES:

Clean the metal surface with mineral spirits to remove all traces of oil and grease. If there are any signs of rust on the surface, use a rust remover. Use sandpaper or a wire brush and roughen up the surface then wipe it to remove all traces of dust. Prime your surface with a primer made specifically for metals.

PROTECTING, STORAGE AND CLEAN-UP:

Every job that we do always starts with protecting all adjacent areas and surfaces such as windows, walkways, lawns, bushes, etc. We will cover the surrounding areas with drop cloths or plastic. Masking is also applied if needed. All debris caused by the preparation and painting are cleaned up at the end of each day.

MATERIALS AND APPLICATION:

The materials we use are pure, unadulterated and top quality. We deliver them to the project site in unbroken packages bearing the makers name and brand number. All materials we utilize comply with the current requirements of the environmental agency, the appropriate Air Pollution Control District and other agencies. Our materials are applied using the highest quality applicators such as airless paint sprayers, rollers and brushes.
